The Committee has decided to recommend recognition of the following new organizations:
Biodiesel Project (funded, Service/Social Action)
Pi Mu Epsilon (limited funding, Honor Society)
German Club (funded, Cultural/Ethnic)
Organic Chemistry Study Committee (funded, Academic/Departmental)
Skydiving Club (limited funding, Sports/Recreation)
Invisible Children United (funded, Service/Social Action)
The Stilettos (limited funding, Arts/Performance)
The Committee also received and reviewed applications from S.I.S.T.E.R.S., Bioethics Student Association, Zeta Sigma Chi, Delta Phi Omega and Best Buddies, all of which have been sent back to the organizations for revisions.
2. Meeting with Athletics Department
Next Tuesday, April 15th, the Committee will meet with representatives from the Athletics Department for the second time to try to clear up ambiguities in the recognition process for Sports Clubs.
